Dear Church family, David and I would like to say with deepest gratitude how much we appreciate the opportunity you provide for us to attend the SBC each year. This is a tremendous opportunity for the both of us to be refreshed, encouraged and inspired through incredible preaching, worship and reconnecting with old friends as well as making new ones. Backyard VBS: Starts July 6. This week, please be praying for:
1. Pray for our workers, the kiddos, and the families at Airport Road MHP. Pray for God's protection, guidance, and a desire for all who come to have the light of life rather than walk in darkness. (John 8:12).
2. Pray that the kiddos will have ears to hear God's Word and hearts to understand it as truth. (Luke 24:45)
3. Pray that the kiddos will understand and believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the promised Son of God. (Matthew 16:16).
4. Pray for all leaders to communicate God's love effectively to the kiddos they teach and that they can see the love of Jesus through the leaders and adults. (1 John 4:19) (John 13:35)
5. Pray that kiddos will share the biblical truths they learn at Backyard VBS with the people in their homes.
6. Pray that kids of all ages will have fun as they learn about the promised, perfect, powerful, and proven Son of God.
7. Thank God for His gift of eternal life and for the kiddos who will receive that gift at Backyard VBS. (Ephesians 2:8)
