Dear Church family,  David and I would like to say with deepest gratitude how much we appreciate the opportunity you provide for us to attend the SBC each year. Backyard VBS: Starts July 6.  This week, please be praying for:
This week, our prayers for the Backyard VBS are:

1. Pray for the families in the community and ask God to open their hearts to hear God’s Word.
2. Pray that the kids will feel comfortable asking questions about salvation.  Pray that leaders and volunteers will rely on the Holy Spirit to give them answers.
3. We thank God for the creativity and passion of  those leading and we ask God to give patience and compassion for the children they will be working with.
4. Pray for kiddos to see Jesus as more than just a good man.  We pray they see Him as the perfect Son of God who came to be the Savior of the world.  (Mark 1:ll)
5. Pray for kiddos to have a genuine encounter with Jesus at the Backyard VBS and to have boldness to make any spiritual decision they need to make. (Jeremiah 24:7)
6. Pray that God helps everyone serving to do everything with kindness and love.       (1 Corinthians 16:14)
7. Pray that kiddos will understand that everything Jesus said and did showed that He is the powerful Son of God.  (Matthew 28:18)
